Techno lovers need no introduction to Stacey Pullen, one of the creators of Detroit techno. We were able to catch up with him at the Delano Hotel during Miami Music Week in between his packed schedule playing at club nights, pool parties, and of course, Ultra Music Festival. We caught up with him on his new EP, new technology in the scene, and the current state of EDM. Stacey is no stranger to Miami Music Week, and has a full schedule to show it. With a capacity of 24 students, for one month of intensive studies, the Cosmic Academy has started only its third incarnation and is already showing major success. He has also just released a brand new twelve track artist album along with thirteenth digital bonus track. Next to producing, Marco Bailey is also an avid touring DJ. Once again, his never ending tour schedule took him everywhere around the globe in 2012. He rocked Nature One Germany; killed it at Space Ibiza together with Carl Cox for 8000 people; and destroyed the Carl Cox stage at Belgium's massive Tomorrowland event. Nines Lives was an album that I promised my patient fans for over a decade, this new album is one that I've promised myself for many years. I've always been a DJ first--that's the reason why I've released more mix compilations than singles in my career.
