Interview with Cosmic Gate
Electronic Night Life’s Lira Yin recently approached Cosmic Gate for an in depth interview prior to their third performance for the year of 2011 in the big apple. For their third return to New York City they played at Cielo in the meatpacking district with arguably one of the best sound systems in the USA and it truly made the music they played even more enticing. The house was packed with a bunch of out of control Cosmic Gate fans as you will see in the introduction to the interview video which was filmed by Shant Dosttur. W&W aka Wardt van der Harst and Willem van Hanegem just released their first artist album entitled Impact on September 23rd, 2011.
The album includes 30 original tracks by the duo themselves and amoungst the releases and colaborations with Wezz Devall, Mark Sixma, Leon Bolier, Ben Gold, Jonas Stenberg and Ummet Ozcan. Featuring vocals of Ana Criado, Bree and Emily. Interview with John Digweed
John Digweed has been one of the most prolific DJ’s and producers in the electronic music scene since his start back in the early 1990’s. John established Bedrock Records in 1999 releasing his first track “Heaven Scent” under his Bedrock alias along with cohort Nick Muir which is an undeniable classic and it still a hell of a track even by today’s standards.
